The artwork in this is very good, as is the story. Despite the number of pages there is quite a wealth of storyline in here if that's your fancy. (It is mine). Storylines include Faramir meeting Frodo & Sam for the first time and discussing quite emotionally his brother's death. After comforting Frodo, Faramir leaves and reminisces on the last time he spoke with Boromir (before he left for Rivendell). Later in the story Aragorn gives Faramir Boromir's gauntlet, which Faramir accepts gratefully.
Emotions are played to the hilt here, but there is no cheese and is quite actually touching. Considering I got this in a lot auction I consider myself quite lucky to have it.

I'd been wanting this doujin for a long time, based on the cover artwork alone. I'm glad I finally tracked a copy down at Anime Boston in 2005 as this is one of the funniest gag doujinshi's I own. If you're a LotR doujin fan, do yourself a favor and track down a copy. You won't regret it.

Zakoya :: Yoshinaka is my absolute favorite LotR doujinshi circle. Their artwork is so good that I just have to have it. I am not quite sure when this doujin takes place, but I am pretty sure the topic of this is that Boromir lived to the end of the series and took Arwen's place. Well whatever he's doing alive here he and Aragorn receive a letter from Merry saying (I believe) that Frodo had sailed to the Undying Isles. Most of the rest of the story is based upon Boromir's conflicting emotion at realizing that Aragorn will someday leave as well. (This is a guess, while I can read some of it, I can't read all of it.)
The gag storyline involves Aragorn, Legolas & Gimli going into battle and Aragorn calling up the ghost of Boromir via the gauntlets to fight.

Yoshinaka again! My love for this circle knows no end. Imagine my surprise when I opened this and found it contained some hardcore yaoi scenes! I had no idea when I purchased it, but that's not to say I mind in the least. I'm not pro Boromir x Aragorn, I'm not much of a fan of non-canon couples at all, but this is some nice looking stuff.
A continuation of the previous Dandelion doujin, so far as I know, this contains some lovely artwork, and once again, a novel part that I can't read.
In the end though I cannot stress enough what a lovely circle Yoshinaka is, and the quality of the stuff they produce.

| The artwork in this looks like it was drawn with a ballpoint pen over an afternoon. Despite this, this is a highly amusing anthology of shorts. Most of the stories in here are gag stories, Faramir going through the family photo album and finding no pictures of himself, a couple of stories where the Fellowship drape themselves all over each other, Boromir & Denethor watching Faramir wed Eowyn from Heaven (CUTE!), as well as a couple page spread of cuts of characters wearing glasses. (Somebody has a fetish obviously).
The last story takes place during Faramir's childhood in Gondor. Wandering the halls one night with a dead baby bird he meets his father who takes him outside in the dark to bury it. Kind of solemn and very touching.

I am really not a fan of the artwork in this one, and as I got it in a lot, I am glad I didn't pay a lot of money for it. This is probably the most bizarre doujinshi I own, and not because of the storyline, it's just the artwork I find too weird (among other oddities, such as Boromir dreaming of raccoons at night).
Anyway the story mainly involves Boromir returning home to Gondor with Aragorn, much to Faramir's chagrin. Faramir quickly sets out to thwart any attempts on Aragorn's part to woo his brother, however the two join forces at the end to scare away a visiting Eomer.

This is strictly a gag doujinshi but as all the jokes are pretty freaking funny I am glad I bought it. Stories include Legolas being taught to shoot a bow & arrow by his father (and repeatedly stabbing his father in various places with the arrow), my favorite of the Nazgul raiding the Fridge (check the sample image), Merry & Pippin getting a little carried away playing with Boromir, and Boromir going into the bath to wash Aragorn's back only to meet up with the spectre of Arwen.

This is a nice doujinshi, though the artwork is a little too shounen for me. Still the artist really managed to capture the actor's likeness in the manga style so that is a really nice touch.
This one is mostly drama including a story near the end between Aragorn and Boromir, and I believe Aragorn is recalling his father but I am not quite sure. There are a couple of short gags, and some really amusing ones at that.

Ah Zakoya, how I adore your style! This is quite a thick volume and well worth the price. The first couple shorts are gags but the meat of this doujinshi is a serious story. In Rivendell after the Council Boromir is walking around thinking when he happens to catch Pippin who falls out of a tree. The two converse for a while (Pippin going on in length about his name), and the two quickly becoming friends. They both are quite unsure what they're doing there and how they can possibly aide the Fellowship, however later Boromir goes to Frodo and Aragorn and swears allegiance to Frodo. The last story involves a serious conversation between Frodo & Aragorn.

This is strictly a text story illustrated by a few pictures. I seriously only bought this one for the cover artwork however! So adorable! Boromir & Faramir as kids! I have no idea what the story is about, however I have yet to sit down and try to translate any of it.
